Overview

On a midsummer day in the park, a boy in a wheelchair finds a red kite. By chance, the kite gives him the ability to walk. He runs, dances, and lifts the kite into the air with joy. Yet in a twist of fate, he is tripped by the kite’s string and falls. Powerless again, he returns to his wheelchair and leaves in quiet frustration. From a distance, a little girl watches it all. She captures the moment in a drawing—framed and quietly kept. The summer falls silent. And beyond it lies an unending stretch of summer, where silence dissolves the borders between up and down, seen and unseen.
